defeated

defeated the pathetic bird was.
It could not fly or lift a wing,
it was nothing but defeated and could not succeed...

Boy oh boy,
You are quite the prolific writer. I was quite impressed with some of them specifically. I loved the simplicity and texture of Playing Around. You said afterwards that it wasn't a poem, but I'd strongly disagree. I also enjoyed the balance of strength and vulnerability in If I stand before this ocean , especially in the childlike reflection in the last line. You told me to not judge the sadness in the poems, but I don't see too much sadness. I see someone who can embrace the world around them and see emotion clearly. Truly impressed, I've added this to my favourites. I'll check back.
