hi so I wanted to give you a poem that I wrote. All my poems are kind of depressing but I still like them so here you go: The Orphan A child left alone with no one to hold, The poor child wishes it was just a story that's told, It's not their fault that their parent's are dead, We can't even imagine the thoughts in their head, The child who wishes for a home, Instead though they live alone, Living in a foster home, orphanage or on the street, A child who would just love a parent to meet, Alone and helpless just following the crowd, A child drifting, floating aimless like acloud, When they grow up they remember the horrors they had to face, When they remember their head begins to race, If they ever have the chance to give birth, They can't stop thinking about what they're worth, What was their purpose and why are they there, Why do they feel so scared and timid like a hare, They will not let their child go through the same thing, The will give them love and hope so they feel like a queen or king, Even when the orphan dies their story is told, So that no one in that family will leave a child out in the cold.
